Activation Billing

            Added optional activation completion rule to enforce a activation fee to be selected.

Client history Reports

            Made performance improvements to all client history reports.

Client History

            Operator Activation Response notes have been filtered out of the history sections of the program, as these signals were cluttering these lists.

Work Orders

            Reversed ordering and added work order id column to work order list within a client, to make it easier to find a work order by its work order id.

Client Search

            Added new begins with search. Can now search using a wildcard search (phrase appears anywhere in field), or begins with. When a phrase is entered, the Enter button runs the wildcard search, and the tab button runs the begins with search.

Client Save Button

            To avoid a common problem of losing large amounts of unsaved client changes because another operator has edited the same client, the save button no longer closes the client window. This allows an operator to regularly save changes to a client easily.

Client Status Tab

            Have added an operator security option to allow editing the contents of this tab.

Commandline Switch

            Added commandline switch to allow each windows user their own workstation settings. This helps resolves configuration issues when using terminal services, running many client sessions.

Automated Reports

            A signal of type 65060 is now logged at the start and end of each automated report to assist with trouble shooting. The signals are logged against the SYST account. This client should have this event type added, and treated as an information only signal (non priority).

GSM Task

            Fixed an issue when receiving Identicom type messages, which were blank.

Deleting Reminders

                When manually removing a sleeping alarm reminder, the associated activation is now closed as well.

Translation

                Translation support has been added to several new areas of Patriot.

Completed Activations

                Can now update and save completed activations from client history.

GSM Task

            Fixed an issue with Cancel delayed alarms if open received. Previously wasn’t working if more than one user was assigned in the response plan.

Activation History

            Added a feature where activations which are older than 2 hours, will have their history displayed on the current activations window and the activation tab. There will be a small performance hit from using this feature. This must be enabled in the Data Service settings.

Layouts

            Added a delete layout button. This allows you to remove the last layout for a client (if they have more than one). When deleting you can also export the layout to save a copy. Also fixed an issue when an operator needed Edit Client rights before they could see more than the first layout.

Response Plans

            Available users list is now sorted by call order, and then user name.

Quickset Defaults

            Fixed an issue where invalid settings data caused problems with the schedule quick set window.

Videofied

            Updated task to meet latest videofied standard, 2.5.

Client Reminders

IMPORTANT: Extended client reminders so additional reminder types can be created in addition to the existing default set (‘Alarm Reminder’, ‘Non-Alarm Reminder’ and ‘Guard Tour’). Priority client reminders now activate with full response plans as per all other Patriot signals. As a consequence of this change new event types must be added to all templates used if their clients use Alarm Reminders. Please see the online documentation.

Alarm Description

            The description of the alarm in the activation window has been extended.

Temp Schedule Change

            Fixed the display of the dates shown in this window so they match with the computers regional settings. Also added auto next field select to the entry boxes for minutes, hours, days to speed up entry. Also fixed display of multi area clients list.

Arrowhead IP Task (module required)

            Added a task to support arrowhead ip panels. Previously this was being handled by the LS30 task, but there are specific requirements, that benefit from being handled by its own task.

Signals Screen

            Improved performance of this window.

Temporary Note

            Fixed an issue with the expiry date when time zones is enabled.

User List

            Added a filter so you can view All, Panel Users, and Call List Users.

False Alarm Analysis Report

            Has been updated to exclude unconfirmed alarms.

Micron Receiver Task

            Added an option to allow the Polling event type to be set. By default this is type 602, but can now be changed. This same event type must be configured in all Micron panels connected.

Work Orders

            Added work order ‘To Be Billed On’ date as an editable field. This field can be made editable using operator settings.

Client Reminders

            Can now create an immediate client alarm reminder.

Master Charges

            Have added filters to the charges selectors so only the relevant charges appear in each respective area.

Inova Receiver

            Extended receiver task to append the primary system number to the front of the client id. This allows duplicate clients to be supported across different repeaters.

ICA

            Changed the order of clients to by name order, to make it easier to find a specific client. If you are hosting your own ICA, you can get this update as a separate download from the downloads area of the website.

CSV Report Generator

            Added option to allow different delimiters.

Signals Window

            This window has been redesigned to allow more signals be to displayed on the screen at one time. Selecting a signal will display additional details on the signal.

Reports

            Fixed a problem where a report accessing corrupt data was causing stability issues in the data service.

Sleeping Attend Reminders

            System event types 65023 and 65087 previously had a hard coded description of ‘Sleeping Attend Reminder’ added to them. These signals now take their description from the event type description, so it can be changed as required.

Grouping Client Activations

            Added new feature which will automatically assign activations for a client to an operator, if that operator already has ownership of a pending activation from that same client. This feature can be turned on in System Settings -> Activation Settings.

Signal Type

            Have altered the way Expanded Zone signal type works. This will now Search for a matching Zone no and module no, if none found will look for a matching zone no and module 0. This allows for a list of zones (module 0) that apply to a range of event types, but also a specific zone to override this behaviour.

Camera Interfaces

            Fail to connect to camera messages are now clearer.

Signal Logging

            Performance Improvements around how SQL logs a signal. This change can also protect against dealocks.

Redcare

            Fixed an issue which stopped the redcare tab from being displayed in a client.

Signal Type

            Enterprise Only. The action plans signal type can now be overridden the event type level. This can save creating unnecessary additional action plans in some situations.

Work Orders

            Allow the Billed date to be editable. Operator security option added to decide if it is display only or editable.

Temporary Schedule Change

            Added temporary schedule change button to the current activations window. This will display if an appropriate alarm is selected. This will only appear if the operator has access to the Remove button.

            Fixed issue with calculation of Redcare alarms.

Dedicated Micros

            Audio was being enabled for all connections in multi-view. This has been resolved.

            Fixed an issue stopping the city name from appearing in messages sent by these tasks.

User Maintenance

            Added filter to view all unassigned users. Also ability to delete all unassigned users.

Client Alarm Reminders

            When setting up a client alarm reminder, you can now select an action plan to assign to the reminder, to bring it in line with the way all alarms are handled in version 6.

Man Down Alert

            Fixed a problem with this feature working incorrectly.

Texecom IP Panels

            Added a task to support these panels directly via IP.

Preset Reports

            Fixed an issue stopping these from being run manually.

Password Fields

            Have added password control which hide passwords, to all password fields in the program. Also added a administrator only menu option (Security -> Current Operator -> Display Passwords) which temporarily displays the passwords in a popup when hovered over the field.

Inserting a client

            Fixed a bug which was stopping new clients from being created.

Alarm Escalation

            Alarm escalation has been changed to specifying an Action plan that the alarm will escalate to, as opposed to just changing the priority. This brings the feature into line with version 6’s right panel activation display lists. IMPORTANT: If you were using alarm escalation, you will need to check each action plan that had escalation setup, and select an appropriate escalate action plan, as the old priority field has been removed.

Sleeping Activations

            When sleeping an activation, you can a different action plan when the activation awakens. Previously, you could only change the priority of the alarm. An operator note is logged to record the change.

Remote Sounds

            Stopped remote sounds program from taking a workstation license.

Manual Backups

            Fixed a problem stopping a second manual backup within the same day.

Licensing

            Extending the licensing system to allow for additional license codes to be stored. This will resolve issues on systems where hardware configuration is changing, like clustered servers.

GSM Task

            When receiving SMS messages from Identicom units, altered location of the message received, so its displayed in the signal description.

Paradox Hellas Sirion IP Convertor (Module required)

            Added support for the Paradox Hellas Sirion IP convertor. This convertor supports standard Contact ID dialler panels, and allows encrypted IP communication direct into Patriot.

False Alarm Analysis Report

            Added option to allow filter by action plan. This will bring this report into line with NSI standards.

Milestone Integration

            Integration with Milestone DVR software is complete.

Dedicated Micros Video Integration

            IMPORTANT: The DM drivers have been updated to the latest version. You will need to uninstall the previous drivers, and install the new drivers on all workstations after applying this patch. If you are using this module, please contact Patriot support for a copy of the new drivers before applying this patch.

            Fixed problem with command sending to devices.

Action Plan

            Changes to the alternate action plan schedule setting weren’t being saved. This has now been fixed.

Messaging Tasks

            Migrated message delay into v6. The setting is now in seconds, where it was previously in minutes. Its available from System Settings -> Activation Settings. Also fixed a bug in Max Alarms to Send.

DC-09 Receiver

            Polling failures now correctly logged. Encryption now supported.

Task Plugin

            Extended to allow third parties to make updates / changes to client records. This is a breaking change for the Task plugin SDK. Please contact Patriot before applying this patch if you are using the client maintenance part of the Task SDK.

Auto Login

            Added commandline options for automatically logging on. This will work for standard clients and IDA clients. See Library -> Installation -> Auto Login.

Operators Logged On

            The network diagram screen (System -> Tasks -> Network diagram), now shows operators currently logged on.

Remote IO Module

            This module allows outputs (relays) to be triggered on an IP enabled device from Patriot. This module replaces the old SIO module in version 5.2

            The clients Dealer Access grouping can now be auto assigned by setting the appropriate dealers (installers) default group. This feature requires the Deal Access Module.

Client Reminders

Response Plan

            Added popup tooltip to the phone numbers displayed in a response plan during an activation. The tooltip tells you what type of phone number this is, i.e. mobile, pager, after hours, etc.

Ghost Alarms

            If your using a Ghost Alarm alias (i.e. logging all ghost alarm signals into one account), the original client number the signal came in on is added to the signal description.

Reports

            Where a report can select a client number range or name range, there is now an option to include all clients, instead of having to select the first and last client.

Zone Locations

            Added ability to specify the location of zones on the site layout. Recently activated zones will be displayed on the layout during an activation.
