Central Station Video Monitoring

CCTV and video verification of alarm activations is becoming a key requirement for many central monitoring stations. The need to access camera data within Patriot's monitoring environment has seen the introduction of Patriot Video Integration Modules.  

Patriot's Video monitoring software interfaces with widely used Video, CCTV, IP Camera and DVR systems. Key camera and video control functions are integrated into the Patriot Monitoring environment.  Authorised operators have access to video data and in most cases, full control of cameras and DVRs.


  Most of CCTV and IP camera/DVR systems currently available have unique integration requirements. Patriot
     developers have selected the most popular and commonly used camera platforms for integration. Each has a
     separate module in Patriot which means you need only purchase the integrations that your business requires.

  Camera icons in the Patriot Activation Report window and signals table provide one click access to camera
     data. Client privacy is protected by optionally restricting camera access to activation situations only. Most of
     the integrations use the CCTV vendors' own software interfaces and this provides  Patriot operators with
     access to all the advanced features available with each platform.   

  Associating your customers' cameras with zones is a quick and easy process in Patriot.  Camera access can
     be configured for a customer  site in minutes.  

  Adding CCTV and IP Camera integration to your existing Patriot system is achieved quickly and simply with
     the application of a new Patriot registration code.  No software reinstallation or database upgrade is 
     necessary.  (Some integrations use the camera manufacturers' software which may also need to be
     installed)

IP Cameras and DVRs
Patriot can integrate to most IP Camera and DVRs provided that they include web based access. Patriot operators use a browser based interface to access the cameras - either as part of the alarm response procedure or, optionally, on demand via client maintenance windows. All of the features of the camera or DVR web interface will be available to Patriot operators. Enhanced functionality is also available for selected brands and models of IP cameras and DVRs and this uses a Patriot interface. Camera/DVR compatibility should be verified with Patriot before integration.
