20.10.2009     IP Receiver Interface Improved

The Patriot 5.2 receiver tasks have been updated and improved. 

Most DSC and Surgard receivers can now interface to Patriot via IP as opposed to RS232.  As serial ports become less common on modern computers, IP connectivity further enhances Patriot’s flexibility and compatibility.

Patriot 5.2 users need to be on build 220909 or later to use this feature and it is available in Patriot Lite, Professional and Enterprise packages.  Other receivers which emulate Surgard IP communications will also be able to take advantage of this feature.  Please contact support@patriotsystems.com for further information.
